EPS gifts ring to man who gave kiss of life to electrocuted boy

Chennai:AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami honoured a man who risked his life to save a young boy who got an electric shock on a waterlogged road in Arumbakkam last week by gifting him a gold ring. Jaden Ryan , an 9-year-old from Arumbakkam, was returning home from school on April 16 when he accidentally stepped into rainwater and got an electric shock as a live electric wire that had snapped had fallen in to the water.that had accumulated on the roadside.

The boy collapsed after being electrocuted. T Kannan, from Thanjavur, who worked in private firm, was passing by and saw the accident. Without hesitation he pulled the boy out of the water and carried him to safety.



EPS invited Kannan to his residence in the city and gifted him with a gold ring..
