Bollywood actress Esha Deol , who made her much-awaited return to the silver screen with Tumko Meri Kasam, treated her fans to a dose of nostalgia by sharing childhood memories on social media. The actress took a trip down memory lane and dropped some throwback pictures from a ‘beautiful 80s morning’, featuring her mother, Hema Malini, and her younger sister, Ahana Deol Vohra.
On Thursday morning, Esha posted two heartwarming images from her childhood on Instagram. The first photo showcases the adorable sibling bond between Esha and Ahana. The two were dressed in matching blue printed dresses of the 1980s.

The second captures a tender mother-daughter moment from the past. The image features Hema Malini seated behind her two young daughters.
The three are sitting outdoors, perhaps on a terrace or patio, with lush greenery in the background. Sharing the nostalgic picture on her feed, Esha Deol captioned, “A beautiful morning back in the 80’s #throwbackthursday @dreamgirlhemamalini and Ahana Deol Vohra." Soon after the picture went viral, fans and followers chimed in to the comments section of the post and bombarded it with the sweetest comments.
A majority of users filled it with heart and evil eye emoticons, while others expressed how lovely the family picture was. Among the flurry of comments, actor Tusshar Kapoor expressed, “Baap re, exactly, Miraya, you look like tooo cute." “A beautiful morning makes feelings beautiful," a fan wrote.
Another commented, “This is gorgeously gorgeous." “So sweet memories," said a user. An Instagram user stated, “What a sweet photo.
" “Memories! Also Lasha!!" “My favourite and gorgeous three...
I don’t know why Ahana quit Insta though. This pic is epic and lovely," added another. Professionally, Esha Deol made her Bollywood debut with the film Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002.
The romantic film, co-starring Aftab Shivadasani, tanked at the box office. After a slew of unsuccessful projects, Esha gave up on her girl-next-door image and went for a bold avatar in Hrithik Roshan starrer Dhoom. The film was a huge box office success and brought popularity to Esha Deol.
Later, she appeared in films like No Entry, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Chura Liya Hai Tumne, Dus and Kucch To Hai. However, she couldn’t match the stardom of her parents, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, and soon faded away from the industry. After years of hiatus from the lights-camera-action world, Esha marked her comeback with the film Tumko Meri Kasam.
Helmed by Vikram Bhatt, the family drama released in theatres on March 21. The film also features Adah Sharma, Anupam Kher, Sushant Singh, Durgesh Kumar, Nazeea Syed Hasan, Shubhankar Das, Manmeet Singh Sawhney and Ishwak Singh in lead roles. Tumko Meri Kasam is loosely based on the life of Dr Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a well-known national chain of reproductive clinics.
