Steve Heard Butchers, which is located in Camelford, won Best Butcher in the region at the 2025 Countryside Alliance Awards. The awards, which are now in their 18th year, recognise rural businesses across five categories, which includes: Sarah Lee, Director of Policy at the Countryside Alliance, said: "These champions represent the very best of our countryside – innovative businesses, passionate people and vital services that keep our rural areas alive. "They are a testament to the power of community and hard work.
" Businesses are nominated by their customers, and regional winners will compete against each other at a special House of Lords reception in June 2025.
