One of the rarest Fortnite collabs from the Gaming Legends series has returned to the shop after it was last seen in 2020. While Fortnite’s collab skins are generally welcome to draw more fans in, they all have one issue in common: you never know when they’ll rotate back to the shop, mainly since there are agreements involved with the IP’s owner. For years now, this case has been prominent with the Gaming Legends series in particular.

One of the rarest skins from this series is Psycho Bandit from the Borderlands collab , which made its debut in August 2019. The last time it was seen in the shop, however, was in May 2020, making it highly sought after for everyone who missed out after this date. But in a surprising turn of events, the extremely rare cosmetic has finally returned – and now, fans are losing their minds.

The Psycho Bandit skin was previously sold for over a thousand dollars First released in Season X, the Psycho Bandit bundle was introduced to the game to draw attention to the launch of Borderlands 3. It included the Bandit Outfit, Claptrap Pet, and Psycho Buzz Axes for 2,000 V-Bucks. Giggling and kicking my feet thinking of everyone who spent hundreds or even thousands on this skin https://t.

Before the bundle hit the item shop again on April 28, 2025, it was being sold for an insane amount online, given that there’s a lot of demand and that it hasn’t returned in years, essentially making it one of the highly sought-after and rarest collabs. One quick search, and you’ll know that this is still being sold for over $1,000 on sites like eBay and Eneba. There’s even one listing still selling it for $1,800.00 USD, even though you can technically buy it right now for the price of 2,000 V-Bucks, which is roughly around $20 USD.

It’s unclear whether this will return again in the near future, but if you’re thinking of adding this one to your locker, you have until May 4, 2025, as that’s when it’s set to rotate out of the shop..
