Faces of Freedom series features speaker on Gemini Project

VACAVILLE — Zach Amis, a solar systems ambassador and Vacaville resident, will be the guest speaker at the May 31 Faces of Freedom event at the Rowland Freedom Center.

VACAVILLE — Zach Amis, a solar systems ambassador and Vacaville resident, will be the guest speaker at the May 31 Faces of Freedom event at the Rowland Freedom Center. Amis will speak on the NASA Gemini Project, the second U.S.

human spaceflight program, and the sequence of events that led to the historic landing on the moon in 1969. The event is from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. The Freedom Center is located at 300 County Airport Road, Building C4, at the Nut Tree Airport in Vacaville.
