FALLBROOK, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The investigation into alleged hazing involving members of the varsity baseball team at Fallbrook High School has come to an end, authorities stated Thursday. In response to an inquiry by FOX 5/KUSI, the San Diego County Sheriff's Office said, "The Fallbrook Union High School District completed its investigation and requested the assistance of the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.

"The office added that juvenile detectives with the Sheriff's Juvenile Service Group also completed their investigation into the hazing allegations. The case has since been handed over to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office for review.Elan Zektser, the attorney for one of the alleged victims involved in the matter, held a press conference Thursday morning detailing the accusations.

"The administration of this district, the coaches at this high school, the athletic director knew what was happening and did absolutely nothing about it. Nothing.""At Fallbrook High School, for many years, coaches were allowing these minors to run around naked on the school premises," Zektser said.

"They were running from one side of the field to the next, some of them by choice, some of them were bullied to do the act."According to the lawyer, his client alleged that after he refused to do so, he was cornered in a locker room by other members of the team and threatened with sexual acts. He then continued to receive threats, sexually intimidating in nature, through social media and text messages, Zektser stated.

A parent of one of the boys accused of sexually hazing another player on the team previously told FOX 5/KUSI that his son -- along with other members accused of similar instances -- was suspended, kicked off the team and even banned from attending games. The school district released a statement on April 17, saying it had just learned of the hazing allegations involving the varsity baseball team. The statement read, in part, "Upon receipt of the allegations, and in compliance with state and federal law, the District immediately began investigating the allegations.

The district’s investigation is ongoing. The District will take appropriate action upon the conclusion of the investigation. Student safety and well-being are the District’s top priorities.

"The district further stated it "cannot comment on the specific allegations or the corrective action that will be taken at the conclusion of the investigation due to student and staff privacy rights."FOX 5/KUSI has reached out to the district for an updated statement following the conclusion of the investigation and is awaiting a response. The DA's office told FOX 5/KUSI it cannot comment on cases involving juveniles due to privacy reasons.
