Filmmaker James Foley, who helmed the “Glengarry Glen Ross” film adaptation, has passed away at the age of 71 following a yearlong battle with brain cancer.Foley made his directorial debut on the Aiden Quinn-Daryl Hannah teen romance tale “Reckless” in 1984 followed by the Sean Penn-Christopher Walken action film “At Close Range”.Around the same time he went on to direct several Madonna music videos, including “Papa Don’t Preach,” “True Blue” and “Live to Tell”.
