The 2024-25 season is in the books for the Philadelphia 76ers, which means it is the time to look back on the season that was for each player. The Sixers finished 24-58 as they missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season amid a slew of injuries. The Sixers used a grand total of 30 players throughout the season and an NBA record 53 starting lineups.

This series will focus on the 15 players on standard deals and the three on two-way deals to finish the season--not anybody who finished the season on a 10-day deal.Up next in this series is veteran Kyle Lowry. The Philadelphia native was limited to only 35 games due to a bothersome hip injury, but the Sixers still benefited from the veteran guard due to his wisdom and the intensity he brought even from the sidelines.

70.935%33%Lowry's overviewThe season for Lowry showed that he had career lows across the board. It makes sense when considering the fact that this was his 19th season and he had to battle through a bothersome hip injury that limited him greatly.

He also started 12 games early on which is something coach Nick Nurse wanted to avoid, but unfortunately had to do because of all the injuries the Sixers were dealing with. He does deserve credit for being a veteran leader for this group. He was still Kyle Lowry meaning he was pushing players to succeed and giving them pointers in order to help them learn and grow.

Lowry's highlightsLowry's best performance in 2024-25 came on Jan. 29 in a win over the Sacramento Kings. Facing off against an old friend in DeMar DeRozan, Lowry went for 13 points, eight assists, and five rebounds while knocking down three triples in the win.

Final gradeLowry shouldn't be judged for his performance on the floor, but rather his positive influence in the locker room and as a leader. He will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason so one has to wonder what his future holds as he recently turned 39 years old, but the Sixers could always use a positive influence in the locker room. His presence is important for the youngsters on this roster.
