As many as five people were killed and four injured during three road accidents in the Thatta, Jacobabad, and Deepalpur areas, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. In the first accident, two real brothers were dead on the spot when a speedy truck crushed them in Thatta. The incident took place at Gharo Bypass in Thatta.
Both brothers were identified as Altaf and Mehtab. Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies of both brothers to Civil Hospital Thatta. In the second accident, one person was dead and two received serious wounds when a Chingchi rickshaw overturned near the Shah Ghazi area of the Saddar Police Station in Jacobabad.
The dead person was identified as Bazo Mirjit. Police said that the accident took place due to over-speeding. Soon after the accident, local police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to Civil Hospital in Jacobabad.
In another accident that occurred in Deepalpur, two people were dead and two became seriously injured when a speedy Honda Civic car hit their motorcycle at Ghara Bridge, Haveli Road in Deepalpur. The dead persons were identified as Naeem Ahmad and Mohammad Abid Wattoo, and the injured people were Mohammad Latif and Mohammad Nawaz. A police team reached the accident and shifted the dead and injured persons to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), Deepalpur.
