Fox News anchor Rachel Campos-Duffy appeared to use an antigay slur during a segment where she slammed Pete Buttigieg who served as Joe Biden's Transportation Secretary. The wife of Donald Trump’s Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy questioned Buttigieg’s masculinity by calling him a ''winger fagger''as she ranted about him. She began by saying: “He’s clearly gotten the masculinity problem memo.

In the clip he is heard saying: “I do think my party needs to do a much better job, especially with the kind of finger wagging that you're talking about. ” Campos-Duffy then remarked as she smirked: “Isn’t Pete the worst virtue-signaling winger fagger?” before quickly correcting herself and saying “wagger." Many viewers then took to X to accuse Campos-Duffy of using a veiled slur. The segment focused on Buttigieg’s appearance on comedy podcast Flagrant, which also featured Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo. One the show Arroyo mocked Buttigieg’s masculinity and outreach to younger male voters, saying: “Mayor Pete is not exactly the one you send out to get the young bro crowd. He added ''you may as well send Dylan Mulvaney'' - a transgender actress - ''doing a makeup class and hope you can get more guys”.
Campos-Duffy also took aim at Buttigieg’s appearance, saying: “Funny how we thought throwing the beard would somehow change everything. It didn’t.” Arroyo replied, “It didn’t make us forget.
