The visit formed part of the association’s trophy tour, providing participating banks an opportunity to view the coveted trophy in advance of the fun-packed tournament scheduled to commence in June 2025, which will feature over 20 teams.Emmanuel Odartey Lamptey, Deputy Managing Director of Operations at GCB Bank, welcomed the delegation with enthusiasm. He stated, “This is going to come home.
It is going to rest here. We are excited to be part of it.” Lamptey stressed the importance of such activities in deepening interbank collaboration and promoting team bonding, while also emphasizing the health benefits of engaging in sports for bankers given the sedentary nature of their profession.
