Indian cricket men's team head coach Gautam Gambhir has claimed that he received a death threat, allegedly from ISIS Kashmir. The former cricketer said he has filed a formal complaint with the Delhi Police on Wednesday. Gambhir also sought measures to safeguard his family’s security.

Gambhir, apart from being a former cricketer, is also a former BJP MP from Delhi. This comes in light of the recent development in Kashmir's Pahalgam, where, on April 22, in a major terror attack, 26 people were killed. This was one of the deadliest attacks in recent history.

The event has drawn widespread condemnation from across the globe. This attack was allegedly carried out by a banned organization, The Resistance Front. Also Read: Airlines operate 59 flights from Srinagar; govt says airfares kept at reasonable levels.
