DETROIT LAKES — Willmar junior Kennedy Mara put up a second-place finish at Monday’s Central Lakes Conference meet at Detroit Country Club in Detroit Lakes.Mara shot a 4-over 75, finishing behind Detroit Lakes’ Tatum Gatheridge. Gatheridge earned medalist honors with a 3-over 74.
Willmar placed third in the team standings with a score of 343. Detroit Lakes claimed the title with 312, followed by Alexandria with 337.Willmar’s Lucia Martin Rodriguez and Raelynn Means both finished in the top 15.
Rodriguez, a junior, was 10th with an 86. Means, a freshman, tied for 14th with 89.Willmar has another CLC meet set for 3 p.
