Goose Creek woman dies in fatal crash

Glynis Washington, a 49-year-old Goose Creek resident, died following a collision on US Highway 176 at Radcliff Circle four miles west of the city, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Brittney Glover.

GOOSE CREEK — A woman has died after an April 18 evening collision. Glynis Washington, a 49-year-old Goose Creek resident, died following a collision on US Highway 176 at Radcliff Circle four miles west of the city, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Brittney Glover. Washington was declared dead at a local hospital.

The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. when a 2018 Toyota Tacoma was traveling east and Washington's Honda CR-V was heading west.



Both vehicles carried one person and they collided at the intersection. The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident. The drive of the Tacoma was also taken to the hospital.
