Gresham shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

GRESHAM, Ore. — A shooting in Gresham early Sunday morning left one person dead and another injured, according to the Gresham Police Department. Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the 4700 block of Southwest 11th Street shortly after 1:30 a.

m., police said. Upon arrival, officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.



Both victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, according to authorities. One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the other remains hospitalized with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, the department reported. The East County Major Crimes Team is investigating the shooting.
