At the time, she said Hajji just got back home after he underwent an operation and suffered from an infection. She also revealed during the interview that she had a conflict with Hajji’s family after his hospitalization, and that she left his house to give way to his family in caring for him.
“Nagko-conflict kami sa opinyon ng isa’t isa...
I apologize for whatever I said but I just got hurt, and I feel like Hajji has been my partner for 27 years, I think that kilalang-kilala ko na kasi siya,” she said, without divulging specific details about their misunderstanding. Hajji died on April 21, a day before his and Velasquez’s 27th anniversary as a couple. Velasquez said she was able to spend the last eight days of his life with him after his children Rachel and Ali had reached out to her.
Velasquez, however, lamented being unable to visit Hajji’s wake due to “reasons [she does not have] control of.” She instead showed herself visiting the late singer’s Eastwood Walk of Fame star. In a separate post, she also lamented how people are supposedly mean to her when she is also mourning.
“God sees everything,” she said, without disclosing who she was referring to. Subscribe to our daily newsletter By providing an email address. I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy .
