Back in October last year, fans were treated to an unexpected collaboration when Diljit Dosanjh invited Pakistani actor Hania Aamir on stage during his London concert. The audience erupted in excitement as the Punjabi superstar performed his iconic track Lover for Hania, who was living her fangirl dream of sharing the stage with Diljit. Earlier this month, fans were thrilled when rumours surfaced online about Hania and Diljit collaborating on a project.
Many speculated that they were teaming up for Sardaar Ji 3. However, the latest buzz indicates that Hania might be replaced following the Pahalgam terror attack. On 22 April, approximately 26 tourists were killed in South Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which strained relations between India and Pakistan.
Consequently, Fawad Khan’s much-anticipated film Abir Gulaal, which was set to mark his Bollywood comeback after a nine-year hiatus, will not be released in India. Rumours now suggest that Hania Aamir, who was poised to make her Indian debut alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa in Sardaar Ji 3, has reportedly been dropped from the project, with the makers searching for a replacement.
