Highest heat index forecast in Los Baños at 50°C — Pagasa

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration forecast that Los Baños, Laguna will experience the highest heat index at 50°C on Wednesday. MANILA, Philippines — Los Baños, Laguna is set to experience the highest heat index at 50°C on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). This was recorded at the National Agrometeorological Station – University of the Philippines Los Baños, Laguna.

It also peaked at the same heat index for two consecutive days already, Pagasa noted in its 5 p.m. Tuesday bulletin.

Pagasa warned that continued heat cramps and heat exhaustion are possible while continued exposure to the sun can lead to heat stroke.
