said that Jesus Christ knew that the path to Calvary was a difficult journey. However, he endured the struggle and the sufferings in his “dutiful obedience to the Father’s will..
. all in the name of love”. He stressed that it is through Jesus’ sacrifice that the people got the gift of salvation.
“Like Christ, may we remain resilient and optimistic in life, despite all the challenges that come our way. May all the adversities that we face shape us into better persons, capable of understanding and charity towards our brethren,” Pres. Bongbong Marcos said.
Based on the report , Marcos Jr. also said that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross shows that humans are bound for bigger things despite “our limitations and frailties”. He also highlighted the victory of the Son of God which is celebrated on Easter.
“May the realization that a loving God embraced humanity to be with us inspire perseverance through tribulations and be an encouragement to our brothers and sisters,” he said. Pres.
