Max Peri tossed a shutout with nine strikeouts, two walks, and five hits to lead second-seeded Livingston to a 10-0 win over 15th-seeded Bloomfield in the first round of the Greater Newark Tournament in Livingston. The Lancers (11-5) will face either 10th-seeded Montclair of seventh-seeded Montclair Kimberley in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Matt Lopa hit a solo homer for Livingston while Robbie Lynn went 2-for-3 with five RBI.
