The acts have impressed the judges and audience to get this far but now, they’ll be doing everything they can to secure a spot in the final. So far, only one live semi-final episode has taken place, meaning two acts will progress. With eight more spots up for grabs, you might be wondering how you can vote to help your favourite make it all the way to the final.
Sharing a short video on Britain’s Got Talent’s official Instagram stories, presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly told fans how they can vote. To make your vote count, you’ll need to make sure you are registered which can be done via the or the app. The vote will open when the show is on so viewers will need to listen out for the instructions.
Viewers will get five free votes during each episode. So far, the following acts received enough votes to progress to the final stage of the talent competition (at the time of writing): Vinnie McKee (singer) The Blackouts (dance group) Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden sent Swiss dance troupe The Blackouts straight through to the grand finale after debuting the live show golden buzzer. At the outset of Saturday’s episode (April 26), Ant and Dec revealed that Holden was given the “first” live show golden buzzer power so she could send a contestant straight through to the final.
