Ian de Leon, nilinaw na hindi pumanaw si Nora Aunor habang inooperahan

Nilinaw ni Ian de Leon na hindi pumanaw ang kaniyang ina na si Nora Aunor sa gitna ng operasyon. Sa isang press conference nitong Huwebes, tinanong ni Lhar Santiago ng GMA Integrated News si Ian kung pumanaw ang Superstar sa pinakahuling medical surgery nito. "She did not," sabi ni Ian.

"She was being operated on, and after that, she had a hard time breathing, and eventually, all things went downhill from there, and that's why they had to do another procedure after that," pagpapatuloy niya. Binasa rin ni Ian ang opisyal na pahayag ng kanilang pamilya tungkol sa pagkamatay ng batikang aktres. "It is with deepest sorrow that we confirm the passing of our beloved mother, Nora Aunor, National artist, and the greatest actress in the history of Philippine cinema," sabi niya.



"She passed away peacefully last night, April 16, and surrounded by those who love her the most," sabi pa ni Ian. Kinilala rin ni Ian ang hindi matatawarang kontribusyon ng kaniyang ina sa Philippine entertainment industry, at sinabing, "her legacy will live on in every performance, every melody, and every person she inspired." "From a very young age, our mom captivated hearts with her talent and grace, and unmatched voice," ani Ian.

"Over the decades, she built a career that shaped the very soul of our culture. Through song, through screen, and through every role she brought to life with brilliance," sabi pa niya. Pumanaw si Nora sa edad 71.
