Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results Hello everyone, and welcome to our live WWE NXT coverage on 411! It’s Jeremy Thomas, and an eventful WrestleMania weekend is in the books. I hope everyone had fun, but now it’s onto the post-Stand & Deliver period and we have plenty of fallout. Tonight’s episode of NXT will see Stephanie Vaquer defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez just a day after Perez attacked her on WWE Raw.
Meanwhile, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez lost and regained the Women’s Tag Team Championships over the last 48 hours and they will defend those titles against Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin. We also have Lexis King defending the Heritage Cup against an as-yet-unnamed opponent and more Stand & Deliver fallout, probably some involving DarkState, the new NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank, and Stacks turning on Tony D’Angelo. Should be a fun show! As busy as I was here at 411, I was a little quieter on my movie-watching at Thomas HQ but did manage to get some 2025 catchup done.
Let’s start with the bad as The Woman in the Yard was a misguided mess of a film thanks to an eyebrow-raising script that wasted the actors’ talents. I enjoyed The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie and Drop much more; the former was a delightful little animated flick while the latter proves what a stay Meghann Fahy is and was a whip-smart tech thriller that Christopher Landon did a great job with as director. And Sinners is my new #1 movie of the year, a bloody, deep and thematically-rich Southern gothic vampire story that never forgets to be entertaining as hell at the same time.
My sole past-years watch was the 2022 documentary The Freeway Killer: Lost Murder Tapes which very much did not do it for me; these “The Killer Speaks” true crime documentaries tend to be more hits than misses and I’m getting tired of them. In happier news, the latest episode of The Final Ghouls of Horror is out! You can check it out below in which Holly, L and I discuss the iconic John Carpenter classic The Thing . I similarly a bit quiet on the TV side as I watched the fantastic season one finale of Daredevil: Born Again and watched all four episodes thus far of Stephanie’s Places , which is a bit fluffy but is entertaining. I also finally — FINALLY — watched the first episode of Black Mirror which was a lot but was also very good. And I watched the first episode of Dimension 20’s new season Titan Takedown on Dropout which features Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Bayley and Chelsea Green playing some fantastic D I can’t recommend it enough.
As a reminder, the GoFundMe for Larry’s kids is still active and if you can make a donation, that would be awesome. Thank you so much to everyone who’s done so thus far..
