Journalists gathered in St Peter’s Square in Vatican City to broadcast live after the death of Pope Francis was announced on Monday, April 21. Footage filmed by Italian journalist Serena Scorzoni shows journalists and camera operators setting up in the square. “A section of St Peter’s Square has been cordoned off for journalists from around the world reporting the news of Papa Francesco’s death”, she wrote on X.
