From April 20 to 23, the city will experience extreme heat and humidity, with little relief even at night. The absence of sea breezes will make outdoor conditions unbearable.

On Friday, Karachi recorded a high of 34.3°C, which rose to between 36°C and 38°C on Saturday. Other cities in Sindh were even hotter, with Dadu hitting 46.

Khorshidi pointed to prolonged power cuts as a major concern.
