Katy Perry took a break from her own tour to show some love for Lady Gaga during a packed concert in Mexico City over the weekend. The Teenage Dream singer, 40, posted a series of photos and videos on Monday from Gaga’s Sunday night performance at Estadio GNP Seguros. Perry had just wrapped three of her own shows in the city, April 23, 25, and 26, launching her Lifetimes Tour at the CDMX Arena.

Every moment was theee moment," Perry wrote on Instagram Stories alongside a picture of Gaga, 39, wearing a dramatic gown. "So proud of you and grateful to grow up together @ladygaga Love u." Perry’s updates included clips of Gaga singing Perfect Celebrity, surrounded by sand and skeleton props, and another moment where Gaga waved the Mexican flag from a high balcony.
Perry also shared a playful video singing "Abracadabra" with friends Lauren Glucksman and songwriter Sarah Hudson. Both Perry and Gaga had separate concerts in Mexico City on Saturday, April 26. Perry is now heading north to perform two more shows at Arena Monterrey on April 28 and 29.
However, planned dates in Guadalajara on May 1 and 2 had to be canceled due to unfinished construction at Arena Guadalajara. You guys mean the world to me and we have all been on such a beautiful journey together that I will be thinking about how I can create something special for the fans in Guadalajara in the future." Meanwhile, Gaga’s schedule is only getting busier. She will headline Mayhem on the Beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 3 before traveling to Singapore in mid-May.
After that, she kicks off her Mayhem Ball Tour across North America and Europe this summer. The 14-time Grammy winner will bring her show to New York , Las Vegas, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, and Toronto, as well as cities like Milan, Paris, and Lyon. "I wasn’t planning to tour this year after my shows in Singapore but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going," Gaga told fans on Instagram in March.
She noted that the new tour dates "came together super quickly.".
