Kazakh delegation in Kabul for business forum

A high-level delegation led by the deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan arrived in Kabul today (Monday), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) said.

KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level delegation led by the deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan arrived in Kabul today (Monday), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) said. In a statement, the MoIC said Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin was heading the delegation, including representatives from the private sector. The delegation is scheduled to meet senior Afghan officials during the visit.

According to the ministry, the purpose of the visit is to convene the Kazakh-Afghan Business Forum and strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The Kazakh-Afghan Business Forum is set to take place tomorrow (Tuesday), with the participation of government officials and private sector representatives from both nations. The forum will focus on exploring opportunities for collaboration in the fields of trade, investment and transit, the ministry added.
