Kendrick Winfield, Diamond Johnson named Norfolk State’s Athletes of the Year

Track and field standout Kendrick Winfield and basketball star Diamond Johnson were named Norfolk State’s Male and Female Athletes of the Year, respectively, at the Spartan Choice Awards on Monday night.The night recognizes the department’s best performers and supporters, with broadcaster Ross Gordon as the master of ceremonies.Other awards were as follows:Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Myles Crocker (Baseball).
