Khloe Kardashian revealed that the show focuses on the Kardashian-Jenners' friends and neighbours. It will take viewers "behind the gates" of their Calabasas community. Khloé Kardashian is returning with a brand-new reality spinoff series titled Calabasas Behind the Gates.
The star reunited with Hulu for her upcoming project after their popular collaboration for the original family reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Later, she joined hands with the streamer for the 2017 premiere of Revenge Body. On April 22, Khloe teased her upcoming project as Hulu’s inaugural screening of the show for which she was joined by Scott Disick.
Khloé, in WonderLand, podcaster at the Get Real panel, said, “It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent." She further shared details on the show’s theme, revealing that it focuses on the Kardashian-Jenners’ friends and neighbours. It will take viewers “behind the gates" of their Calabasas community, offering a peek into the lives of the extended lives of the famous family.
Rob Mills, executive vice president at Disney, Hulu’s parent company, also joined the panel to add fresh updates about the show. He said, “We all want to know what’s happening behind the gates of Calabasas—who are all these people in the extended lives of the Kardashians? So, we’re developing a show that we’re actually, at least for now, calling Calabasas Behind the Gates." Well, Khloe refrained from revealing whether any of her famous family members will be seen in the new show.
However, she expressed hope that her brother Rob Kardashian might make an appearance in the spin-off series. She added, “I always have my faith and confidence in Rob." Meanwhile, Rob, who maintains a significant distance from the spotlight, was recently seen in Kim Kardashian’s Easter family photo in a rare appearance.
Khloe, who is the mother of two children – daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 2, with former beau Tristan Thompson, also delighted fans with her presence on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month. During the candid chat, she let it slip that her famous family is allowed to remove and edit clips they do not like from their reality show. Sharing further, she mentioned that Kourtney Kardashian Barker makes the most of this authority as she often removes the word ‘like’ from her sentences.
