The Los Angeles Innocence Project claims they have key evidence that was withheld from jurors during Scott Peterson's murder trial. The group says that if the jurors had seen that evidence, they may not have convicted him. Laci Peterson went missing from her Modesto home on Christmas Eve back in 2002, in a case that got national attention. The bodies of Laci and her unborn son, Conner, were found months later along the shoreline in Richmond. Her husband, Scott Peterson, claimed he had gone fishing on the day Laci disappeared, and he has repeatedly said he’s innocent. Peterson’s team has been claiming Laci’s murder could have been linked to a home burglary that she may have stumbled on while walking her dog.
