P. Estrella, Cade Phillips and Bishop Boswell returning from its 2024-25 basketball roster. Tennessee's 2025 signing class consists of forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson and power forward Nate Ament.
Tennessee's two current additions from the transfer portal include former Maryland guard Ja'Kobi Gillespie and former Vanderbilt forward Jaylen Carey.Below are prospects to monitor for Tennessee with the NCAA transfer portal closing Tuesday.Rodney RiceRice played with Gillespie on Maryland's "Crab Five" team that made the Sweet 16 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Villanova is Tennessee's biggest competition for Rice. Former Maryland head coach Kevin Willard was hired by Villanova in March. Rice also visited USC after going to Tennessee.
