I am writing in full support of Vanessa Emlich for the Lincoln Airport Authority. I have known Vanessa for almost a decade and have come to know her as a thoughtful leader, very hard worker and someone who listens to all sides of an issue and does the research before making a decision. Vanessa was appointed to the Lincoln Airport Authority in 2023 during a time of many challenges facing the LAA.
As a former member of the Lincoln City Council, I had the honor of voting in support of her appointment. Vanessa immediately rose to the occasion of these many challenges and met them head on with ease, poise and confidence. Vanessa is committed to expanding Lincoln’s air service and strengthening public-private partnerships in our community while continuing to build a more vibrant and better connected airport and community.
