In Dr. Marilyn Johnson-Farr District 7 voters have the opportunity to elect an outstanding board member for the Lincoln Board of Education. To serve Lincoln Public Schools well, board members must be committed to improving the lives of all children.

Dr. Johnson-Farr is a visionary educator, student advocate and community activist who is dedicated to fostering compassion, care and competency for all students. No other candidate can offer the experience, qualifications and passion that she does.



With an extensive background in educational experiences including serving as a teacher’s aide before becoming an elementary teacher and districtwide leader of professional development, Dr. Johnson-Farr has also served as a consultant for the Nebraska Department of Education and Lincoln Public Schools. She received the Dwight E.

Porter Professor of Education Award at Doane University and was named a Lincoln High School Distinguished Alumni for her exemplary contributions. People are also reading..
