In the years that Bennie Shobe has been representing Lincoln on the City Council, he has dedicated himself to his adopted city. Whenever there is an event highlighting accomplishments, new innovations or important happenings in our community, Bennie is there. He attends as many occasions as possible, often having to spend nights and weekends at his work making up for the time he dedicates to Lincoln and Lincolnites.
Bennie is an exemplary "at-large" representative. He is an advocate for initiatives that will benefit the community. His voice is one of experience and reason.
One of his greatest strengths is his accessibility to all, encouraging conversations and opinions to hear what Lincoln's citizens care about. He is open to considering all sides and has made friends with people from neighborhoods, businesses, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.
