Article content SENIORS NEED A BREAK Recommended Videos Please tell me why you’re paying taxes on your CCP for all the years you’ve worked, then your money is being used by government and you never received any interest on your money? And when you collect it once you’re eligible, they tax you again? As far as I’m concerned, seniors have built this country and shouldn’t have to pay taxes at all. The government gives themselves big fat raises while seniors are lucky to get a 2.5% increase.

Eliminate taxes on seniors and let them enjoy their lives in their golden years! Kevin Weir (Most politicians are more interested in taking care of themselves and make promises during the election only to break them when in office) DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE LIBS Like the old Who song says, “Don’t be fooled again.” This election is so important and if things do not change, Canada will be in a bigger mess than it has been over the last ten years. I’m not sure these polls floating around are accurate.

Why would any sane person over 55 change their vote to the Liberals knowing full well how our country has suffered under their leadership? Don Honeychurch Calgary (Let’s hope voters in Ontario heed your warning) I AM VOTING CONSERVATIVE I am a senior who shares ownership of my home with my wife. This year I will be voting to help Gen Z because I think it only fair they receive the same opportunities that I had when I was much younger. It is too hard for them to catch up, let alone get ahead, because of government policies.

I think it is tragic that anyone would consider voting for a party that has put Canada’s youth in such a difficult position where they can’t hold onto their jobs and have no hope or prospects. I’m voting Conservative. Ken Basso Cariboo, BC (It’s time for a change in this country because the last decade of failed policies have been ruinous for Canada).
