And when you collect it once you’re eligible, they tax you again? As far as I’m concerned, seniors have built this country and shouldn’t have to pay taxes at all. The government gives themselves big fat raises while seniors are lucky to get a 2.5% increase.
Eliminate taxes on seniors and let them enjoy their lives in their golden years! Why would any sane person over 55 change their vote to the Liberals knowing full well how our country has suffered under their leadership? This year I will be voting to help Gen Z because I think it only fair they receive the same opportunities that I had when I was much younger. It is too hard for them to catch up, let alone get ahead, because of government policies.
I think it is tragic that anyone would consider voting for a party that has put Canada’s youth in such a difficult position where they can’t hold onto their jobs and have no hope or prospects.
