Lions invite EMU QB Cole Snyder to rookie minicamp

The Lions upcoming rookie minicamp will feature a local quarterback trying to earn his way into a contract. Per Eastern Michigan, the Lions have invited EMU quarterback Cole Snyder to the rookie minicamp. Snyder spent one year at Eastern Michigan after prior stints at Rutgers and Buffalo.

He started for three seasons, two at Buffalo and then the 2024 campaign for the Eagles in Ypsilanti. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Snyder completed 58.1 percent of his passes for 47 touchdowns and 21 INTs in his college career.

He also ran for 323 yards and four TDs for EMU in 2024. A rookie minicamp invite is not a contract offer, so Snyder doesn't count among the team's 90-man roster or UDFA signings.
