A low pressure area (LPA) located northwest of Zamboanga del Norte will bring rains over Visayas and four other areas on Sunday, according to PAGASA's weather forecast. Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Batangas, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

At 3 a.m., the LPA was estimated to be located at 310 km Northwest of Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte or 55 km South Southeast of Cuyo, Palawan (10.



4°N, 121.2°E). The easterlies meanwhile are affecting the rest of the country, PAGASA said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
