New Delhi: In a welcome move for consumers, oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 14.50, effective from May 1, 2025. This price revision offers some much-needed respite amid ongoing inflationary pressures in the market.
Following the rate cut, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 1,747.50. The revised prices in other major metros are Rs 1,699 in Mumbai, Rs 1,851.
50 in Kolkata, and Rs 1,906 in Chennai. This revision aligns with the pricing policy followed by oil marketing firms, where both domestic and commercial LPG prices are typically adjusted on the first day of every month. However, it's important to note that this change applies only to commercial LPG cylinders and not domestic ones, which remain unchanged for now.
