To the editor:Trump’s new imposition of tariffs on all nations is his way of implementing a new way of doing economic business on planet earth.Nobel Prize winner in economics Joseph Stiglitz says Trump is ignoring established World Trade Organization law and regulations in favor of a system that invites bribery between nations as the new form of “negotiation” to lower tariffs.Trump is already benefiting massively from immunity from criminal prosecution for crimes he committed before taking office (“a long-standing Department of Justice policy”) and immunity from prosecution for crimes he commits during his remaining term or terms of office, a gift from our nation’s Chief Justice Bootlicker John Roberts.
