Despite boasting a plethora of characters to play , it’s safe to say that the support experience in Marvel Rivals isn’t always pleasant. With the lack of role lock or a ‘healing passive’ feature like in Overwatch 2, oftentimes, you’d find yourself getting dived and killed easily, especially if you’re playing as a character with zero mobility .
To many, playing this role is like a “thankless” job, even after giving it your all. Following this, a number of Strategist players have jumped in to share their thoughts in a Reddit thread discussing the idea of a “support strike.
” One user pointed out how this one comment from Necros has had an awful impact on the community, hence why it’s important to address. They wrote: “In a recent match, I was playing support, and I wasn’t doing bad — nearly 50k healing, only two deaths, same damage blocked as our DPS, and just 10k less total damage dealt.” “Still, someone in voice chat told me: ‘Necros was right; you support players who are all brain dead.
