Norwich City are seeking some Easter redemption of their own as they travel to Millwall searching for a reaction to their Good Friday mauling. Josh Sargent is an injury doubt after being replaced at half time of that defeat with a shoulder injury. Callum Doyle could be deemed fit enough to start while Matej Jurasek is set to feature after a prolonged absence. Angus Gunn was missing from Friday's squad but has subsquently welcomed a baby son with his wife.
It remains to be seen whether the Scotland international will feature at the Den this afternoon. Attacker Ante Crnac is still sidelined after suffering an ankle injury in their 2-1 defeat to Plymouth. He is expected to return for City's final away game of the campaign at Middlesbrough.
Duo Lewis Dobbin and Ben Chrisene are likely to miss the remainder of the Championship campaign after injuries sustained in the 1-1 draw to Blackburn earlier this month. Lucien Mahovo's quad injury has also ended his campaign, with Norwich weighing up whether surgery is the next step. Gabe Forsyth is expected to miss the remainder of the Championship campaign after undergoing knee surgery.
Millwall, who still harbour faint play-off ambitions, were also on the receiving end of a heavy defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Friday, with Alex Neil bemoaning defensive injuries as a contributing factor. Neil was forced to change three members of his defensive five at Ewood Park with Joe Bryan, Japhet Tanganga and Camiel Neghli all missing. Striker Aaron Connolly, Duncan Watmore, Raees Bangura-Williams and Dan McNamara have also missed recent matches.
City have failed to win any of their last four away league games against sides from London (D2 L2), since a 3-2 win vs Millwall at the Den in March 2023. Millwall have won just one of their last 10 league games against Norwich (D2 L7), a 1-0 victory in this exact fixture last season. - Follow live updates via our live matchday blog above and join the debate with chief Norwich City reporter Connor Southwell live from the Den.
