Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano mourned the passing of the late actress and National Artist Nora Aunor.

Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano mourned the passing of the late actress and National Artist Nora Aunor. Aunor, also known as Ate Guy, passed away on April 16 at age 71. She was buried on April 22 at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig.

“Paalam at salamat, Ate Guy. Nakikiramay ako sa pamilya at mga tagahanga ng ating Superstar at National Artist, Nora Aunor (Farewell and thank you, Ate Guy. My condolences to the family and fans of our Superstar and National Artist, Nora Aunor),” Cayetano posted on Facebook along with photos with Aunor during the Cinemanila International Film Festival in 2011 held in Taguig.



Aunor received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
