McDonald’s brings back Squishmallows Happy Meal, which debuted at the chain in 2023, with all-new toys. Here's what you can expect.

A popular, poofy plaything has returned to the Golden Arches. On May 13, McDonald’s announced that Squishmallows are officially back in McDonald’s Happy Meals after their , for a limited time. “Happy Meal fans gather ‘round,” McDonald’s wrote on its .

“You’ve waited patiently for two years, and we want to let all collectors know, there’s a new squad on the block that you won’t want to miss out on.” For Squishmallows collectors, , and this go-around, the Happy Meal comes with one of 12 Squishmallows — including a “never-before-seen Intergalactic Axolotl” named Halley ( ). Each Squishmallow comes with a character hang tag that includes its name, information about it and a code to scan for access to an interactive game.



The Squishmallows fanbase runs deep, with folks showing off their on TikTok, and beyond. The hashtag has over 688,000 videos on TikTok, and excited collectors are already reviewing their Happy Meal hauls. One TikTok user, Matt March (@thesouthernsnack), , including the box and a toy placed in an opaque bag for added mystery.
