Qatar tribune Tribune News Network Doha Abdul Aziz and Zishan Mansoor of MES Indian School have been selected for the Qatar National Cricket Team in the GCC Under-16 Cricket Tournament. The tournament is scheduled from April 23 to May 5, 2025 at the UDST Cricket Ground and the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. This prestigious event will bring together young cricketers from GCC nations on one platform to prove their ability and provides an opportunity to compete each other.
The selection of Abdul Aziz and Zishan is a testament to their dedication, talent, and the excellent training provided by the school’s Physical Education Department. The school’s Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, commended their efforts to feature in the national team and wished that they make a mark in the prestigious international tournament which acts as a great inspiration for other aspiring students in sports and games. She also appreciated the coach, Afsal S, for his dedication and hard work.
