Michael H. Oakes OBITUARY Michael Henry Oakes, 65, of Ashford, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2025. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Henry and Gretchen (Montegomery) Oakes.

Michael was a Maintenance Supervisor for Vesta Management Corporation. He leaves behind is significant other of 30 years Maria Lashua, children Kiersten Oakes, Jerry Oakes and Samantha Oakes; his grandchildren Gianna, Riley, Kennedy and Rylan; and stepson Jeff Lashua.
