Qatar tribune QNA Doha The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has established a new office, located at the Supreme Judicial Council building in Hazm Al Markhiya, for the registration and enforcement of real estate-related judgments issued by courts. This initiative comes as part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to bring services closer to the public, improve accessibility, and enhance the efficiency of real estate services within an integrated system. The new office specialises in providing registration and enforcement services for final real estate judgments issued by the competent courts in Qatar, ensuring the swift and accurate completion of transactions in line with approved legal frameworks.

The opening of the office reinforces the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to develop and deliver more efficient services within the real estate registration and documentation sector. Amer Saeed Al Ghafri, director of the Real Estate Registration Department at the MoJ, highlighted the significance of the new office, noting that it stems from close coordination and cooperation between the MoJ and the Supreme Judicial Council to facilitate judicial services for citizens and stakeholders with greater ease and efficiency. He pointed out that clients no longer need to visit the MoJ’s main building, as the new office provides all services related to the registration and implementation of final judgments concerning real estate.

Al Ghafri added that this launch is part of a series of measures recently adopted to enhance the performance of the real estate registration sector. Among these initiatives is the introduction of a new security version of the usufruct certificate, designed to improve document security, prevent forgery, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data — thereby enhancing the reliability of real estate transactions and improving service quality. In support of digital transformation and in alignment with a forward-looking vision to meet the requirements of the digital age, Al Ghafri explained that the Department has also launched electronic usufruct services through the SAK application for smart devices.

This initiative aims to streamline procedures, expedite processes, and enhance the overall efficiency and user experience of real estate services. In addition, the digital ownership of title deeds and usufruct certificates is now available through the application, allowing users to download their documents directly to their smart device wallets for immediate access to real estate ownership data. Al Ghafri concluded by inviting the public and clients involved in real estate registration and execution transactions to visit the new office at the Supreme Judicial Council building in Hazm Al Markhiya, and encouraged them to reach out through the Department’s official communication channels and digital platforms for any inquiries or support.
