They also led the AL in runs scored (158) as well as home runs (45).On Tuesday, in Baltimore, the Yankees added to both of those leads, in historical fashion.The Yankees led off the game hitting back-to-back-to-back home runs against Orioles pitcher, Kyle Gibson.
The Yankees also accomplished this feat on March 29 against the Milwaukee Brewers.This makes the Yankees the first team in MLB history to hit back-to-back-to-back home runs to lead off a game twice in the same season.MLB quickly ran to social media to make the historic announcement on their official X account.

2 on the season for the Yankees. That game started with home runs by Paul Goldschmidt, Cody Bellinger, and Aaron Judge off former-Yankee, Nestor Cortes. After an out in that first inning, Austin Wells would add a fourth home run to their game against the Brewers.
Tuesday night's game started in an eerily similar way. After home runs by Trent Grisham, Judge, and Ben Rice, the Yankees made an out. That out was then followed by a home run by Bellinger (the fourth of the first inning).
