The wait is over for MNL48 fans as the P-pop group makes its highly anticipated comeback via Reboot and Rise 2025 fan meeting on April 26, 5:00 p.m., at SM North EDSA Annex in Quezon City.
“We are thrilled for our reboot and still our rise,” MNL48 leader Jamie said during the media conference earlier, April 25, at the Park Inn by Radisson in Quezon City.Reboot and Rise 2025 will be a mini-festival showcasing the all-female idol group's music memories and milestones.“Together po with the new generation members, we train hard and we have a lot of setlist na maipapakita rin namin.
One thing that you should look forward to po is the setlist na gagawin namin per generation,” MNL member Klaire said.Jamie added, “As the name suggests, magre-restart po ulit ang MNL 48 since, alam naman po nating lahat, na matagal po tayong nawala. So, we are more than thrilled na parang to finally reboot and hopefully.
.. surely we'll rise again.
”She also gave a hint on what to expect from the fan meet, “It's the first time in a while, MNL48 will be back on stage. We will bring to life our original songs that we have performed while introducing the new set of members, since a lot of our senpais or seniors have already graduated. We will still have the same heart and flavor of MNL48 that they loved from the beginning.
”The group leader also noted that tomorrow's event is more than a fan meet for them.“I'm very happy po for this comeback for us. Since a lot of our MNLoves and even casual listeners, 'Nasaan na ba ang MNL 48? Babalik pa ba sila?' Yes, po, ito na po kami.
“For us po as a group, coming back not only means that we're coming back to the stage, but we're rekindling the fire that's really within us. The idle passion that we have within us, of course, ipapa-ignite po ulit namin yun. Hopefully, we can give stronger performances in the future.
”Joining MNL48 in the Reboot and Rise 2025 fan meeting is the international group Quadlips, which is AKB48's first international unit featuring representatives from sister groups across Asia. Debuted in 2024, Quadlips consists of Hina (SKE48, Japan), Feni (JKT48, Indonesia), Fame (BNK48, Thailand), and COLE (MNL48, Philippines).
