We know next Saturday, April 26 is going to be busy. Between the Big Gay Brunch options in the morning and the Grand Tasting beginning at 5:30, the Music City Food & Wine Festiva l in Centennial Park is going to “eat” up a lot of your Saturday. But there are still 51⁄2 hours between the end of brunch and the opening of the tasting pavilion, so you can fill those precious hours with Cajun and Cambodian crawfish beginning at 2:00.
Here’s the deal, chef Sophina Uong of Little Miss Mao inside Skinny Dennis is teaming up with The Gumbo Bros to throw a good ole crawfish boil beginning at 2:00 until the last bug is consumed. They’ll be pairing the Gumbo Bros’ spicy Cajun boil with Uong’s incendiary Khmer lemongrass curry along with corn and potatoes to soak up all the extra spice for $25 per order. All you have to do is make your way to Skinny Dennis at 2635 Gallatin Pike to purchase your ticket and then make your way to the Gumbo Bros tent to pick up your bounty.
Enjoy some additional small bites from the Little Miss Mao menu and maybe a beer (or three) from Skinny Dennis while you dig on the music and enjoy a uniquely East Nashville party experience!.
