The BFG, directed by Steven Spielberg, is a film adaptation of the much-loved book by Roald Dahl. The story revolves around Sophie, a ten year old orphan who befriends the Big Friendly Giant (BFG) after she sees him frolicking across London. After capturing her and taking her back to Giant Country, the giant explains that their existence must remain a secret.

He creates nightmares to deter her from escaping. Sophie eventually persuades the friendly giant to take her to Dream Country where they spend time catching both good and bad dreams. As their friendship blossoms, Sophie accompanies The BFG on his nightly work in London, which involves sending good dreams to sleeping children.
